Polk City, Fantasy of Flight Museum

Fantasy of Flight features a fleet of vintage aircraft representing nearly all eras of aviation. Many have been painstakingly restored while others remain in the condition in which they were acquired by Fantasy of Flight's founder, Kermit Weeks.

General Admission is around $25 per person with discounts available to senior, children and groups. Check their website for details - Fantasy of Flight

At Fantasy of Flight's Aviation gift shop you're sure to find that right gift for any flying enthusiast. (below)

Step though the canvas door and enter the museum where
you'll experience the sights and sounds of aviation's history.

The tour of Fantasy of Flight takes you through many aircraft displays and FoF's
restoration areas where you can see several of their meticulous reconstruction projects underway.

...and when you've had your fill of those flying machines, settle in at the Compass Rose Diner for a bite to eat.

We didn't know what to expect, but in all, we were very impressed by the experience. We spent the better part of a day looking through the museum and could have easily spent another day to see everything in detail. So folks, if you love flying, aircraft, and everything aviation, this is a must see when visiting Florida.
