Kilwin's, St. Augustine (KSGJ) - Fudge to die for... As you walk the historic district, you can't help but notice the sweet aroma of fresh made fudge and confectioneries. We stopped by Kilwin's for a sample. The line was understandably long, but it gives you time to decide which of the many confectionery treats to buy; and to watch as they make the variety of tasty treats. We decided just to pick up a small box of plain fudge (I wish we had bought a couple). Having just had lunch at the Acapulco Mexican Restaurant we didn't try the tasty treat and saved it for later. However, the aroma emanating for the box (on our flight back) was the signal to delve into the rich brown heavenly snack. Smooth, creamy, sweet and oh so tasty. As I said, I wish now we had bought a box or two more. Next trip. So, if you get a chance to visit the historic district of St. Augustine, be sure to give Kilwin's a try.
