It had been a couple years since we last visited Sharky's, so this Memorial weekend we jumped in the plane a headed to Venice. Sharky's is about a 20 - 30 minute walk from the FBO now that they've fenced the west end of the airport... and with the FBO now located on the east side of the airport. Out of the FBO, go left to the "T" and left again. Sharky's is just down on the right.

For a starter, we ordered the Calamari with a spicy salsa. The Calamari was bland and a bit greasy.

I decided on a Lobster Roll, which was also tasteless. On our last visit I had ordered Greg’s Fresh Grouper Sandwich was mighty good (and filling too). read the review

The next time I go back I'm ordering the Grouper Sandwich.

My wife saw a new item on the menu, a Sloppy Joe with peppers, onions, and cheese, but she had the same comment - bland.

Sorry Sharky's, but either your food has gone downhill or it was a bad day for the cooks. We will however come back for the Grouper Sandwich.
